About this place: Previously the site of a sanatorium, Maybury opened as a State Park in 1975 and has 944 acres of gently rolling terrain, open meadow, and mature forest. Next to the State Park is Maybury Farm, an 85 acre working farm with a mission to connect the community to animals and agriculture through hands-on experiences that are both engaging and educational.
Entrance to the park:
Being a State Park, a Michigan resident (vehicle) Recreation Passport or a non-resident pass is required.
For competitors without a Michigan Recreation Passport or Non-Resident pass, coupons giving free entrance to Maybury State Park(valid only for the day of the muni event) will be provided in the registration packet. A coupon must be presented(one per vehicle) at the booth for free entry. Vehicles not tendering a coupon on the day of the competition with be charged standard entry rates(see below) at the competitors expense.

–At Michigan state parks,DNR customer service centers and other designated locations (good until next vehicle registration) – $16

Maybury is open daily from 8am to 10pm for competitors to practice the courses prior to the event. Competitors are responsible for park entrance fees for practice sessions.
Advanced and Elite riders will be on the course at the same time. Elite riders will be required to wear an orange tag to identify themselves to race officials. This identification tag will be provided on the day of race registration and must be prominently visible on an upper corner of the competitors race number. Competitors should also verbally identify their race classification to marshals on the course for direction.
Variances from the IUF Rules
No variances. All IUF rules will be followed for the muni competitions.
Maybury State Park is located on Eight Mile Road about four miles west from I-96/I-275 (Exit 167) and about two miles from Downtown Northville, which has restaurants, coffee shops, a Kroger supermarket and two bicycle shops (D&D and Town and Country).
For vehicular access to the muni event USE THE ENTRANCE OFF 8 MILE ROAD (not Beck Road!).
NAUCC headquarters for muni will be at the Oak Shelter (N42°25.797’ W83°32.123’). The shelter is 200yds from the parking lot and adjacent to modern restrooms with a drinking fountain (well water), a playground and volleyball court. Barbeque grills are available at the shelter.
